Cool way to have a hot shower

IT took them a year. Once convinced that the era of fossil fuel- powered energy was not just wasteful but a damaging exercise as well, Philip Lee and his group of friends decided to try producing hot water from a running air-conditioner.
A year later, in 2005, they came up with a Heat Recovery System (HRS) applicable not just for residential air-conditioners, but commercial and industrial as well.
The system basically harnesses the "wasted heat" from an air conditioner's compressor to heat the water. The advantage is that this allows air-conditioners to work more efficiently and with a prolonged lifespan.
