Ever since the blacklist scandal of the 1950's, the prevailing wisdom in Hollywood has been liberal. But under President Bush, many show biz people have moved into the far left precincts. Not since Richard Nixon has a president been as unpopular as Mr. Bush is in Hollywood today.

The most outspoken far left show biz guy these days is actor George Clooney. You may remember that Clooney and I had a go-around over the 9/11 charity controversy. We'll have more on that coming up.
