Article: 2 U. Oklahoma honor students to appear in History Channel special

(Oklahoma Daily) (U-WIRE) NORMAN, Okla. -- Sixteen students from the Honors College were busy Monday as they went in and out of a TV studio to do one-minute screen tests for the History Channel.

The screen tests were held at the Television and Satellite Services on campus.

Two students from the Honors College will be chosen to shoot a pilot show for the History Channel about baby boomers, said Michelle Johnson, coordinator of special projects at the Honors College.

Emily Ruggs, public relations junior, is one of the students who took advantage of the opportunity.
