(The Parthenon) (U-WIRE) HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia state legislators are reviewing a bill that prohibits the abortion pill, RU-486, from being distributed on public university and college campuses.
Delegate John Ellem (R-Wood) initiated the bill as a request from the Pro-Life group, Life Gauge.
"A member of Life Gauge asked for help in introducing the bill," Ellem said. "I think the bill will lower the potential number of abortions and help women on campus to consider other options, such as adoption."
