A woman who fell to her death from a 23rd-floor apartment window had a blood-alcohol level more than four times the legal limit, a coroner said.
The woman's boyfriend, who is charged with homicide in her death, has told police he was dangling her from the window during drunken horseplay when he lost his grip. At a hearing earlier this week, he apologized to her family, saying, "I'm so, so sorry for what happened."
Officials have said Kevin P. Eckenrode, 25, had a blood-alcohol level of 0.256 the night his 23-year-old girlfriend, Rachel Kozlusky, died.
