As part of its 2006 "Match for Life" campaign, the Armenian Bone Marrow
Donor Registry (ABMDR) has joined forces with the Western Diocese of the
Armenian Apostolic Church of North America to start an aggressive
educational and recruitment program in the greater Los Angeles area. For
the next two months, immediately following Mass, the ABMDR will have teams
available at various churches to inform the public about what it should
know and do when someone is stricken with leukemia or other blood-related
