Will you be my Valentine? What does it mean? On February 14, you will see a
lot of cards that say this. It means, "Will you be my friend?" - "Will you
be someone who loves me?" It could also mean, "I like you. Will you like
me?" Why do we do this on February 14? Where did it get started? The answer
is very mixed up. Valentine was the name of a good man who helped children.
For some reason, he was put in jail. The story says that the children threw
loving notes or letters to him through the jail window. Second, this day
