Qingtongxia Aluminium to Establish Factory in India

NINGXIA, Mar 28, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Qingtongxia Aluminium Group Co., Ltd. signed the cooperative agreement with Ashapura Minechem Ltd. in India to co-invest in alumina exploitation recently.

Qingtongxia Aluminium Group is one of the biggest aluminium companies in China. It is located in Ningxia Autonomous Region in Northwest China.

The cooperative alumina project will have an investment of USD 600 million and an annual production capacity of 1 million tons.

It will be constructed in two phases with the two parties holding 50 stakes respectively.
