Box: Broke Brad Pitt hopes to hit boxing jackpot

MELBOURNE, March 25 AAP - Fame and fortune seem destined for someone called Brad Pitt.
Broke Victorian boxer Brad Pitt certainly hopes that will soon be the case after becoming
the first Australian heavyweight to claim Commonwealth Games gold today.
Relying on family handouts since he made the Games team last August, Pitt, 24, hopes
his historic victory raises his profile enough to attract sponsors to fund his Beijing
Olympic assault.
"I have no income at all, just relying on my family. I couldn't have done this without
them," Pitt said.
