The blanks in his bubbles could be filled with "Ji Lee Was Here." A takeoff
on the ubiquitous "Kilroy Was Here" graffiti, this has been the calling
card of American soldiers around the world since the 1940s. But unlike the
messages left by the ubiquitous Kilroy, Lee is leaving it up to pen-toting
citizens of the world to fill in the blanks and rouse our curiosities.

Lee is a 34-year-old Korean American already retired from the corporate
life. Today, he is facilitating the injection of a thousand voices into the
univocal marketing campaigns of the world's biggest conglomerates. His
"Bubble Project" has placed tens of thousands of voice bubbles on outdoor
advertising in cities ...
