I thought I had made progress on the chocolates I received from Christmas,
and then Valentine's Day came with all its conversation hearts and
chocolate. You either get chocolates from your significant other, family or
co-workers.

There is always that bowl of red- and pink-foiled wrapped chocolates on
someone's desk, and on another sits a 2-pound Hershey's Kiss. The
availability of chocolate in America is phenomenal. We can indulge in
American-made chocolate, and chocolates from Italy, France, Spain, South
America and China.

China?

Hard to believe, but even chocolate, or qiaokeli, (pronounced
