Hawks Celebrate Black History Month

The Atlanta Hawks teamed-up with Wendy's to celebrate Black History Month
by holding a special art contest for Atlanta area middle school students,
focusing on people, events and achievements which helped shape the nation.

Justin James from Richards Middle School in Lawrenceville was named the
winner of the contest, and was surprised at school with a visit by a
contingent from the Hawks and Wendy's, and a special video message from
Hawks forward Al Harrington. Guard Joe Johnson and Harrington both served
as judges for the contest.
