Where art thou, father? There are an alarming number of single parent
households and almost all of them are headed by the mothers. Both men and
women speak of having been raised by either their mothers or their
grandmothers. There are many reasons why the fathers are not active
participants in the households, but far too often the reason is a matter of
choice. The ideal is the man and woman marries and happily raises a family
together. That is the way God intended it to work. While every child
deserves the ideal family environment, sometimes it is just simply not
