Judge Danielle M. Mosley was recently honored at a gala reception in
recognition of Mosley's appointment to Anne Arundel County District Court
Judge.
"I'm excited that everybody is here to celebrate my success, it means a lot
to me," said Mosley about the event.
Judge Mosley's appointment by Gov. Ehrlich on Dec. 15, 2005, made her the
first African-American female appointed to the district court in Anne
Arundel County. With there being approximately 489,656 African Americans in
Anne Arundel County making up 13.6 percent of the population and nine
judges in the district courts, Judge Mosley's appointment is definitely
history in the making.
