Local high school teens were honored, March 14, for their innovativeness in
the area of entrepreneurship. Teams of students from Northwestern and
Patterson high schools showcased their talents at the "Realize Ambition:
The Shot Caller Showdown" held at Baltimore City Community College (BCCC),
Liberty Campus. The event, hosted by 93.9 WKYS-FM radio personality, Steph
Lova, was the climax of a program established by Verizon as an extension of
their "Realize" advertising and marketing campaign. This campaign focuses
on African-American entrepreneurs and enlists real business owners as role
