Dancer Michael Snipe Jr. returns to his roots

Students at the Baltimore School for the Arts received a very special treat
this week when alumnus Michael Snipe, Jr. returned to his alma mater, where
his dreams of becoming a dancer became a reality. The talented, young
dancer, who has found fame on stage, came home this month. He is one of 23
featured dancers in the Tony Award-winning musical, Movin' Out, based on
songs by pop artist Billy Joel and conceived, choreographed and directed by
Tony Award-winning choreographer and dance legend, Twyla Tharp.

Movin' Out is appearing at the Hippodrome Theatre at the France-Merrick
Performing Arts Center through March 19, 2006.
