Jeffrey L. Susman, M.D., has been appointed to serve as a member of the
American Academy of Family Physician's Commission on Quality for a one-year
term that began Dec. 15, 2005. Susman is a family physician at the
University Wyoming Family Practice at the University of Cincinnati. He is
also chairman and professor at the 12-member AAFP Commission on Quality
focuses on issues affecting family physicians, including quality
improvement, performance improvement and measurement, translation of
guidelines into clinical practice and working to enhance patient safety and
reduce medical error.
