Ohio Catholics expecting apology from U.S. House Majority Leader

We feel that new U.S. House Majority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, should
apologize to Ohio Catholics. In a letter last month to the Republican
faithful, Boehner compared his values to that of the late Pope John Paul
II. Boehner's weak attempt to align himself with the late Pontiff is
suspect at best.

As with most morally superior Republicans, Boehner uses the abortion card
to advance himself as a Catholic. Of course like most right wing fanatics,
his position on abortion is similar to the extreme position of Ken
Blackwell where the mother's life is meaningless or that of Sen. Tom
Coburn, D-Okla., who would execute doctors that, perform abortions. This
