Bobby Jindal comes out in support of nuclear deal

Representative Bobby Jindal, Louisiana Republican, who was the chief guest
and keynote speaker at the Indian American Friendship Council Texas
Chapter's annual banquet, has come out strongly in support of the United
States-India civilian nuclear agreement, exhorting the community to
mobilize to ensure its approval in Congress.

Saying there were several reasons for the deal to pass, Jindal noted that
'there are, of course, the obvious ones, like decreasing competition for
oil and gas resources for two quickly growing economies, enhancing economic
cooperation and the opportunity for American and Indian businesses to
