Despite the public awareness created within the American community
regarding Armenian history and culture, young adults struggle to give 100%
of their attention to organized youth groups in the Diaspora. The "hustle
and bustle" of American life, along with the pressures of being a "young
professional," often takes away from commitments towards anything outside a
career. Nevertheless, the Tekeyan Cultural Association's (TCA) Armenian
Youth Organization (AYO) continues to take great strides in establishing
itself as a thriving group of young adults intent on furthering the
Armenian culture within its community, and beyond.
