Harvard Offers Free Education to Low Income Families

Seeking more diversity in its student population, Harvard University, one
of the nation's most prestigious universities, announced a change in policy
that allows undergraduate students from low-income families to pay no
tuition nor will they be required to use student loans. All education costs
will be free.

In making the announcement, Harvard's president Lawrence H. Summers said,
