New Racial Bias Study Tough On Conservatives

Political conservatives tend to be "more biased" against Blacks, according
to the results of psychological testing conducted by University of Virginia
and Harvard psychologists.

Dr. Brian Nosek of the University of Virginia detailed the study during a
recent conference of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology held
in Palm Springs, California.

He said conservatives tend to have stronger biases against Blacks than
persons who say they are liberal. The biases were "admitted biases" of
which respondents were aware, and "implicit anti-Black biases" of which
many conservatives were not aware, he said.
