Family upset after 'Gentle Giant' allegedly robbed three times

Like the average 29-year-old, Matthew Mabry wanted to move out of his
grandmother's house and live independently.

He applied for low-income housing through Philadelphia Housing Authority,
and after some time on the waiting list, he was selected for an apartment.

Mabry, who is on medication for Tourette's Syndrome, narcolepsy and sleep
apnea, went on PHA's housing tour, and selected an apartment in Mantua Hall
Apartments at 35th Street and Fairmount Avenue.

There, in a neighborhood known as the Bottom, is where his younger sister
