It's not the worst allergy season ever or the highest tree-pollen count — not yet, anyway — but wheezing and sneezing started earlier than usual this year in North Jersey, allergists said Thursday.

"It's been going on about a month," said Dr. Stuart From, head of allergies and immunology at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
