The International Herald Tribune will begin printing editions in Bangladesh through a local subsidiary, the newspaper said in a news release Monday.

The Paris-based daily has signed an agreement with its Bangladeshi distributor, Cross World Trading Co., to start printing copies from Tuesday in the capital, Dhaka, through its subsidiary International Herald Tribute Bangladesh Ltd.

"After distributing the International Herald Tribune throughout the country for the past five years, we are delighted by the prospect of also printing the paper directly here in Bangladesh," said Syed Raziur Rahman Chowdhury, chairman of the Bangladesh subsidiary.
