skyrocketing gas prices at pumps across Indiana, U.S. Senator Evan Bayh
today called on the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to increase the amount
of money spent on gas that Americans who use their personal vehicles for
business purposes can deduct from their taxes. Bayh sent a letter today
to IRS Commissioner Mark Everson requesting the change for all business-related
car travel, in light of the impact high gas prices are having on Hoosier
