MELBOURNE, May 18 AAP - The family home can be a minefield for a mischievous toddler
but for Emilia Habgood the greatest dangers lurk in the pantry.
The three-year-old has food allergies so severe one of her first solid meals very nearly
became her last.
Emilia was five months old when mum Helen Czech fed her a pizza crust which triggered
an anaphylactic attack.
Within an hour-and-a-half her face had swollen up and Ms Czech - a trained nurse -
knew something was drastically wrong.
