Will the Barisan Nasional make a clean sweep again?

THE outcome of today's polls in Sarawak is almost done and dusted because there has been no real issue that could dent the Barisan Nasional's chances except in Chinese-majority areas.
Having won two seats, Dalat and Daro, uncontested on nomination day, the elections are as lacklustre as the last polls in 2001 in many places, including the city of Kuching.
There are hardly any posters, banners or operations centres in Kuching. It is hard to soak in the usual excitement in an election in most constituencies in Sarawak.
