NEW delays in the delivery of the Airbus A380 superjumbo are unlikely to affect Malaysia Airlines' (MAS) plans to turn itself around.

The national carrier, which saw a net loss of RM1.26 billion last year, expects to return to profitability in fiscal year 2007.
According to sources close to the company, MAS' three-year business turnaround plan does not include the six A380s it had ordered.
