Air Conditioner Price Rises, Despite Say of Price Cut

GUANGZHOU, Jun 19, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Recently, the average price of air-conditioners raise by CNY 100 to CNY 200 in China compared with the price before May Day holiday, a rush season for air-conditioner sales.

The price rise actually started from the end of April, according to a staff working in a Guangzhou chain of China's top-ranking consumer electronics retailer Gome. The prices in other Guangzhou air-conditioner stores go up as well.
