Things are heating up for Nelson adventure racers Tony Bateup and Lisa Savage.

The Grizzlytours.com/Port Nelson team members had been training in sub-zero temperatures in the mountains, lakes and rivers of a snowbound South Island. But this week they are adjusting to 40deg heat near Moab in Utah as they prepare for the Primal Quest adventure race, starting on Monday.
