Grizzlytours.com-Port Nelson may not win the race but like the tortoise it is rapidly gaining ground on the hares in the Primal Quest adventure race in Utah.
Lisa Savage and Tony Bateup, both of Nelson, Keith Riley of Marlborough and Wellington's Paul Chaplow were this morning in 16th place in the non-stop multisport race through southern Utah's Canyonlands. That's a dramatic improvement after pulling the wrong rein and finishing a frustrating horse trek well back in the pack on day one of the 800km odyssey.
