New Zealand national orienteering champion Chris Forne has been worth his weight in gold for team GoLite Timberland in the 800km Primal Quest adventure race in Utah.
Forne guided the all-New Zealand team through the La Sal mountains in quick time allowing GoLite to stay in touch with leader Nike Power Blast of the US. GoLite emerged from the trek early this morning and now appears to be the only team capable of catching Nike with three stages left in the non-stop multisport race through southeastern Utah.
