Inventions Take Minority in Domestic Patent Applications

BEIJING, Aug 01, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Figures show in early 2000, China's total sum of patent applications for the first time came to 1 million; in March 2004, the figure came to 2 million; in June 2006, came the third 1 million.

Through the figures, it can be seen that patent applications in China grew at an astronomical speed after 2000, and this tendency continues now.
