WA: Aboriginal girl to face trial under race-hate laws

PERTH, Aug 2 AAP - An Aboriginal teenager today will become the first person to face
trial on charges laid under Western Australia's new race-hate laws.

The 14-year-old girl was one of three Aboriginal girls who allegedly assaulted a 19-year-old
non-indigenous woman in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, in the WA Goldfields region, in April.
