China Mobile Sees Its Stock Price Hit Record High

BEIJING, Aug 07, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Mobile, the world's largest mobile operator by subscribers, saw its stock price surge time after time, which closed at HKD 50 last friday, the highest record in five years.

The saying of prolonged release of 3G licenses is the main stimulator behind the rise of stock price, disclosed an insider. China Mobile finished the day at HKD 49.6 on August 2, up 0.16, with its market capitalization approaching HKD 1,000 billion.
