WA: Anger over koala killing at wildlife park

PERTH, Aug 28 AAP - West Australians have reacted with revulsion to the killing of
a popular koala at a wildlife park, the manager says.
The mutilated body of the koala Mambo was found near bins at the Marapana Wildlife
Park, south of Perth, early yesterday.
The death of the koala came after people broke into the park, bashing Mambo and setting
free three dingoes which then went on a rampage killing chickens and a kangaroo.
Marapana manager Tim Mullany says Mambo was so friendly he would have rushed towards
the intruders, who are believed to have bashed the animal, possibly tearing ...
