(Daily Orange) (CSTV U-WIRE) SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- In just four short hours, Arizona State head coach Dirk Koetter ended the ASU career of one quarterback, while breathing fresh life back into another.
Last Sunday, Koetter named senior Sam Keller the starting quarterback for the 2006 season, ending a heated quarterback battle between sophomore Rudy Carpenter that lasted throughout spring practice and training camp.
Literally hours later, Koetter changed his mind, naming Carpenter the starter, thrusting him into the spotlight. Keller was left to seek other schools to finish his stellar college career -- he will redshirt this year at Nebraska and presumably ...
