NSW: Two men jailed for more than 20 years for "cowardly" murder

SYDNEY, Sept 5 AAP - Two men have each been jailed for maximum terms of more than 20
years for the "cowardly" bashing murder of a young Sydney man.

John Hohaia was jailed for a minimum of 18 years and Mostafa Abdulkader for 15 years
and nine months for murdering Alexander Szirt in south west suburban Belmore in December
2003.

Mr Szirt, 20, was "repeatedly and savagely assaulted" and robbed while Hohaia and Abdulkader
held him captive for more than four hours, Justice David Kirby told the NSW Supreme Court
today.

His body was found in his car at a carpark at Wiley Park on December 3, ...
