IPOH: Close friends paid their last respects to the late Sir Norman Frank Sisson yesterday during a private wake at the Kek Lok Seah crematorium in Bercham.
The body of the 75-year-old Australian, who died on Wednesday, arrived at the crematorium about 1.30pm.
At the crematorium's morgue, Sir Norman's body was put on display to allow friends to have a last glimpse of him before he is cremated today.
A number of people turned up in the afternoon but visitors mostly trickled in after 6pm. According to Corinne Lee, a close friend of Sir Norman, they came mostly from Kuala Lumpur.
