Article: Connecticut voters to use new machines this November

(The Daily Campus) (U-WIRE) STORRS, Conn. -- When Mansfield, Conn., residents head to the polls to vote on Nov. 7, they will cast their ballots with new electronic optical-scan voting machines rather than the old mechanical pull-lever machines.

The new optical-scan voting machines and a "vote-by-phone" system were displayed by representatives of the Connecticut Secretary of State's office to help educate voters about the new machines and answer any questions residents had, at the Mansfield Senior Center Saturday.
