History of the national minimum wage case.



The 2006 weekly wage increases were announced today, the first handed down by the Australian
Fair Pay Commission (AFPC):



Workers on the standard federal minimum wage and in all pay scales up to $700 a week
will receive a $27.36 pay rise.

Workers on minimum wage pay scales of $700 a week and above will receive a $22.04 pay rise.
