(Daily Collegian) (U-WIRE) UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Hallow-een has come and gone. Children and young-at-heart college students dressed up in their costumes -- some scary and risque, but all in the name of fun.

But on Halloween, it was not scary costumes that startled me. On Oct. 31, Bob Barker announced that he would end his run on The Price Is Right next June.

I couldn't believe it. Well, I could. I mean, the man is 82 years old. But The Price Is Right is the most heart-warming show on TV.

Why would he do this to us? I can't count the times in grade school when I'd wake up on a day off just to see the joy of an anonymous person who just won a showcase.
