An old pile of stones resembling a turtle sits in a clearing deep in the woods of Lyman. Seven years ago, longtime baking instructor Michael Jubinsky and his wife Sandy discovered the turtle when they moved here from Connecticut and built their home, equipped with a large kitchen suited for baking classes.
