(Daily Toreador) (CSTV U-WIRE) LUBBOCK, Texas -- Perfection is a rarity. However, for Texas Tech cross country runner Sally Kipyego, perfection has been her game plan for all of the 2006 season.
After finishing ahead of the competition in the Mountain Regional Championships Saturday, Kipyego has placed first in all five meets she ran this season. The first-place finish guided the No. 17 Red Raiders to a second-place finish in the regional championships and an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships for the women's team.
