NSW: Chemist murderer has life sentence reduced

SYDNEY, Nov 16 AAP - A man jailed for life over the shooting murder of a Sydney chemist
has had his life sentence reduced on appeal.

Dudley Mark Aslett, 35, was jailed for life in 2004 for the murder of Sydney chemist
Emad Youssef outside his Canley Vale pharmacy in August 2003.

One month earlier Aslett had been jailed in the NSW District Court for 40 years over
the brutal gang rape of a 16-year-old girl at knifepoint during a home invasion at Newington
in July of the same year.
