DSM Invests in New Plant in Jiangyin

JIANGSU, Nov 29, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Royal DSM N.V. recently announced the building of a new production facility for high viscosity greats of Akulon polyamide 6 (PA6) in Jiangyin, eastern China's Jiangsu Province.

DSM did not reveal the specific investment value in the plant, but the sum is said to reach several tens of millions of US dollars.

The new plant, scheduled to commence production in the second quarter of 2008, will add USD 200 million to DSM's annual sales revenues in China.

After commissioning, the new plant will make DSM the sole producer engaged in the entire PA6 material production chain ...
