(The Daily Reveille) (U-WIRE) BATON ROUGE, La. -- Contraception is a word universally acknowledged by both men and women alike. But for several decades birth control has been virtually exclusive to women.

But scientists have been working over the past few decades to answer the question, "What about more birth-control methods for men?" And with research studies and product development gaining momentum, scientists think the question can be answered in the next five to 10 years.

But the bigger question remains if men will be willing to take a step in a direction associated with women for so long.
