(Daily Trojan) (U-WIRE) LOS ANGELES -- It's hard to believe that a top-30 university's administration would have the audacity to fire its student newspaper's elected editor because of campus politics.

Remarkably enough, that's exactly what's happening right now. Sources have confirmed that fall Editor in Chief Zach Fox will be blocked from taking office this spring by Vice President of Student Affairs Michael L. Jackson despite being elected by the democratic vote of the Daily Trojan's staff.

This is tough to fathom on many levels.
