On this Christmas morning, the godfather of soul has died.
James Brown was 73 and he'd been hospitalized in Atlanta for pneumonia. His hits included "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag", "Night Train", and "I Got You". It all started with his first record in 1556, "Please Please Please".
